In case you're wondering about all the content flooding the "new content" that is actually decades old - well I am migrating all, well most, of the sites old content to a CMS platform where I can better update and keep track of things, and when I do that they appear as new in the database. I know that the quality of most of it is horrible and outdated, but I've decided to migrate what is on the site and work from there rather than updating one page at a time, because honestly I might never be done with the migration then, and I really need to in order to make the changes to content quality that I aim/hope to do.
So I apologize for all the horribly outdated material, but I promise to try to make better and more informational pages in the future and update the old along the way :-)

This one has been on my to do for a very long time, mainly because it has been within my view within the past 2 decades or so when using my computer. It's a gadget to be used along with an SNES copier... but why not check it out.

Funding was successful over a year ago, the game was almost done, backers were told. So what could go wrong? Here's a short story about Snout, the game that was done but not yet delivered one year on.

In case you haven't noticed, I have started working on a new section for the pirate junk part of the site. It has been planned for years and years but I just never got around to it and now I finally have a way of presenting the carts how I wanted it to be, sure it's nothing groundbreaking, but feel free to have a peak at the work in progress.

Also, I will be taking down a lot of the existing pirate section, it's a mess honestly, outdated in every way. I do have some new ideas in the works - even though it's pirate junk it still needs to be properly presented :-)
It's no secret that the layout on NESWORLD is a dinosaur, heck I think most of it even predates the very first iPad released years and years back. The most recent layout update is probably some 10+ years old and was still just an upgrade of what was already there. Anyway! I think time has come to work on something new, but I am no webdesigner, I have zero knowledge about "modern" website programming. I know that I've always wanted something as simple as possible, something that should look new and old at the same time, and yeah, just easy on the eyes - unlike the older days of the site where all text was super tiny but hey the screen resolution was also lower then! And yeah I know it's still farily small on this news page, working on it :-D
So, I have been working on someting, which is not finished at all, in fact far from, but feel free to check out the link below and also please note that it may even change over the coming weeks. I may attempt to clean it up and add a few more layouts, especially one specifically for the Gameboy Pirate cart section which I need to get going again - my desk is flooded with recent "acquirements" I want to document.
Anyway here's the "new work in progress" layout and feel free to comment (if you haven't seen it yet, there's a new forum that can be used to contact me if needed/neceseary :-)
Oh right!, the link!

You might have heard of Chiller, the infamous Zapper game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System that had so much blood and gore that Nintendo did not want to have anything to do with it – okay, that’s not really the whole truth as the game was released without a license from Nintendo anyway.

During the early days of video game development at Equilibrium, one game actually never saw the light of day, at least not outside of Equilibrium and maybe a handful of possible publishers. The game I am talking about is called “Defectors!” with the catchy subtitle “Multi-player addiction”.

Did the odd AI mockup picture catch your attention? Sorry about that, this is actually about the real deal. This one took a bit of time to get out the door, for no very reason. But here's a small writeup about the Pro Action Replay for the original DMG Gameboy.
