Korean developer, DAOU Infosys, developed this game for the Famicom back in the early 1990's and it was supposed to be released in the US by a company called Inovation Tech along with one other Daou NES/Famicom game. While it has been believed to this day that Buzz & Waldog went unreleased, it actually turns out that the game was indeed released at least in Korea as "Ko Ko Eo Deu Ben Ce" by Daou Infosys/Open Corp.

Buzz & Waldog isn't completely like the original game though, while the original featured a boy and a girl the american release would feature two guys.
